Happy New Year and The End!

First of all, Happy New Year to one and all! 2010 will be a great year, I can feel it in me old bones! I hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday. Mine was quiet and peaceful, just as I wanted it.

Christmas was also very fruitful for me since I FINALLY typed THE END to Vaia's Destiny, my sci-fi romance which I've been writing for over two years. Yayyy for me! It's my longest work yet (coming in at a staggering 119,486 words!). Yeesh! I get the feeling it will hit the 120k mark by the time edits are done, but I'm not sweating that just yet.

For now, I'm just happy to be done with this, ruminating about the novel I need to write for HP, and catching up with what everyone else's been up to.

So, dish!

  4. Thanks, Suzanne! Yes, word count took me by surprise, but Vaia and Falcon had a lot of story to tell, LOL. The best of 2010 to you, too!

  5. Thanks Jackie! I absolutely adore SF, especially the Stars - Stargate, Star Trek, Star Wars! It's a powerful tool my DH used to woo me, LOL (he's a SF nut, too). I had a LOT of fun world building and I'm hoping to write a sequel sometime in the not too distant future. Happy 2010 to you, too!

  7. Congratulations - that's a huge achievement and the old year was a perfect time to finish one project so you can concentrate on something new in 2010. What will you be sending your editor in Richmond?

    Happy New Year!
